the King’s daughter.
A lost princess
Made to dance in white dresses
Says she’s ok but the slits on her wrists
Are self inflicted
the engravings on her arms, they betray her
Dark secret-
Fine line designs depicting terrible pictures
struggling to stop but the beast’s teeth, it clenches
So deep, that at night, even beauty sleep rejects her
Her sad smile and her eyes they reflect it
Skin deep scars, they express the stress visits
Tested
against her frail frame, relentless
Her tears fall
and she cant perceive just how precious
Her heart is. depressed her reflection’s not perfect
So she binges on some food then with a finger
it’s rejected
this circle is repeated
this is her universal
her song is a cycle
desperate for reversal
a princess lost.
She’s forgotten her home
taken away once upon a time ago
was kidnapped and now alone.
Cuz Its unknown to her
So Lonely in despair
here today and gone tomorrow
Would anybody care?
If you have scars, Jesus can cover you
If you have bruises, Jesus can heal you
If you have bitterness,
If you have shame, Jesus can restore you
If you have sin, Jesus can renew you
If you have hatred in your heart, Jesus can reverse you
Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you.
My prayer is that you hear this.
The king, her father
He went out to find her
Every single day
Battling
Just to remind her…
Journeyed to the ends of the earth
He even fought time.
He Pushed forward (with all of His strength)
While the world, it pushed rewind.
And all of this the King endured
Even though she didn’t know.
It was for her he laid down his life,
For her to Resurrect restored.
He threw off his crown
Without a sound, For her heart, His life? Laid down.
will she believe?
and return to the King?
Everything…
counts on it now.
